The NPP presidential candidate, Nana Akufo-Addo has began a 4-day campaign tour of the Volta region.
The Volta region is known as the strong hold of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), it is also a region where the New Patriotic Party’s performance in elections is abysmal, to say the least.
Nana Addo began his campaign tour Thursday with a visit to Anloga where he paid a courtesy call on the Awoamefia of the Anlo traditional area, Togbui Sri III.

In a Facebook post, he shared photos of places in the region he has visited so far.
At the Keta Nursing and Midwifery College, Nana Addo reiterated his commitment of restoring teacher and nursing training allowances, which the NDC has cancelled.
