VGMA 2015 artiste of the year E.L says he was slightly disappointed he was not nominated at the Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards.
He made the revelation on Accra based Live FM Friday.
“Initially [I was disappointed] … Once you win Artiste of the Year, its all eyes on you. I’m just trying as much as possible to keep calm because you have people coming at you from all angles about different things,” he said.
The ‘Koko’ hitmaker’s snub comes as a surprise because in recent years VGMA ‘Artiste of the Year’ winners usually get nominated in the ‘Best International Act Africa’ category at the BET Awards.
