The flagbearer of Ghana’s biggest opposition party, NPP, Nana Akufo-Addo has expressed shock at the demise of the party’s MP for Abetifi Peter Wiafe Pepera.
Nana Addo in a tweet Sunday morning also expressed his “deepest condolence” to the family of the late Member of Parliament.
Peter Pepera passed on yesterday at the 37 military hospital, he is reported to have died of heart attack.
He was a former Managing Director of Paramount Distilleries. He celebrated his 62nd birthday on May 9.
A holder of MSc (Systems Analysis) from the University of Birmingham, Pepera was a member of the Privileges Committee and the Trade, Industry and Tourism.
