Presidential adviser on corruption Daniel Bartidam says President Mahama has fought corruption more than any other government under the Fourth Republic.
Daniel Bartidam in an interview with Ultimate FM argues that government has put in place the needed legal structures against acts of corruption in Ghana.
“I think by now anybody who has been in Ghana for the last couple of years will know that the issue about corruption has been put on the front burner, nobody is pretending that there is no corruption in the country. What we are saying is that everybody should be on board and the President is doing his best but you must also realise that there is rule of law,” he stated.
Ghana was rated the second most corrupt African country by People and Corruption: Africa Survey 2015 with cases of bribery and the embezzlement of funds being the most recorded.
