Inhabitants of Abenabo , a suburb in the Suhum municipality have raised concerns about the source of their drinking water.
According to the residents their lives are threatened as they have to drink from water sourced from drainage of the Suhum government hospital due to lack of potable drinking water in the area.
Residents told Accra based Kasapa FM that the situation has become a nightmare because it is making life unbearable.

Some residents who narrated their plight to Kasapa 102.3 FM say the area has been cut off in development, insisting that their roads, schools and potable drinking water are all not in a good shape.
The chief of the community, Nene Narteh Akrotiah I on his part appealed for urgent action to be taken to address the situation.
