The founder and leader of the Church of Rabi, Odifuor Kwabena Tawiah, has claimed that more people will die in the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) if the party does not seek God’s intervention.
Odifuor Tawiah told Accra-based Adom FM that some unnamed people, in a bid to satisfy their lust for power, had consulted their gods to eliminate all leading members before planned November 7 elections.
He said if NPP leaders sat unconcerned without taking action, the worst would happen.
“I am not a prophet of doom, but if the NPP sit down and don't pray harder, they will witness another death which is far greater than the death of this MP,” he said.
The Church of Rabbi leader added that the prophecy could be prevented from materialising by fervent prayers backed by faith, but was unavoidable if nothing was done about it.
The NPP has lost leading members this year, including former chairman, Jake Obetsebi Lamptey, Abuakwa North MP, JB Danquah Adu, former Agric minister, Ernest Akubuor Debrah and recently, Peter Wiafe Peprah, MP for Abetifi.
