Kofi Wayo, the founder and leader of the defunct United Renaissance Party has called on President John Mahama to rise up and fight his saboteurs within his NDC party who are working against his second-term bid in office.

The businessman, told Kasapa 102.3 FM that he has some intelligence that some party members are tirelessly fighting Mahama in secrecy so he loses the November 7, presidential elections.
Wayo alleged that those people plotted the president’s downfall in connivance with the opposition NPP who promised the saboteurs high positions in government when they come into power.
“John Mahama has to get up because I said it that they are going to sabotage him and they are doing it and so he’s to get up and fight like a man ... Mahama loves God and God always let the people who love him win,” Wayo said.
A high critic of past governments, Kofi Wayo said he still do not agree with some policies and the way the president runs the economy, but he believes the president has a clear chance of retaining his seat in the upcoming elections with his massive support on the grounds.
