MPs call for the re-evaluation of Ghana's security

Ghana's security chiefs have been called upon by Members of Parliament to re-evaluate Ghana’s internal security situation following the spate of serial killings in the country.

Member of Parliament for Subin in the Ashanti Region, Isaac Osei regarding the increase in robbery cases as well as clashes between nomadic herdsmen in Tafo and Agogo among others has requested for heightened security at the various residence of parliamentarians.

Also, a  statement by Hon Isaac Osei argues that as a state 'we should re-evaluate our personal security and take it extremely seriously.” “If we have to ask the assemblies as a government policy , to buy CCTV cameras and put it in all the areas that we suspect people will commit crimes, we should do it'.

The conserted call by MPs follow the bloody killing former NPP member for Abuakwa NorthJoseph Boakye -Danquah Adu and the recent attack on another NPP MP for Okere, Dan Kwaku Botwe at his residence.
