Ashanti regional chairman of the NPP, Benard Antwi Bosiako, also known as Chairman Wontumi has threatened to lead attacks on NDC polling station agents in the Ashanti region should social media be blocked on election day.
Chairman Wontumi has argued that the move by the police to shutdown social media on election day is part of efforts by the NDC to cut communication between members of the opposition party alleging that government has imported secret communication gadgets aimed at helping their polling agents during the elections.
