NPP demands report on raid of party headquarters

The opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) is demanding from the Inspector General of Police (IGP) John Kudalor the outcome of investigations into a dawn raid at its headquarters last year.

A letter signed by the acting general secretary of the NPP John Boadu said: “We will like to know the extent of work done on the criminal aspect of the raid.”

On November 23, 2015, a group of armed persons in military uniform raided the headquarters and the Kokomlemle offices of the main opposition party and allegedly carted some items in sacks from the offices including weapons during their operations.
