A Supreme Court judge, Justice William Atuguba, has condemned what he says is the unethical conduct of some lawyers in the country.
Speaking at a legal ethics training programme for law students in Accra, Justice Atuguba crticised what he said was the laxity among those lawyers in the handling of cases at the various courts, particularly the Supreme Court.
The situation, he said, amounted to breaching the code of the ethics that lawyers were supposed to uphold, according to a report by tv3network.com.

Justice Atuguba said although some lawyers do well in presenting well-researched cases, “others just come one some legal holiday; they just walk into the court and even forget what their briefs are about. You ask a simple question [and] they don’t know where it is”.
He, therefore, urged law students and professional lawyers to embrace in their legal profession.
