It is suspected that the armed robbers trailed Baah Tweneboah from work to his house around 9pm on Wednesday where they launched an attack on he and his family before shooting him dead. The robbers made away with phones and laptops but the deceased wife, Esther Adomako suspects foul play.

According to Mrs. Esther Adomako, their children rushed to open the gate for their father when he arrived home from work that day and that was when the armed robbers got into their house and demanded for all their money. She recalled that the whole family was beaten brutally before her husband was fatally shot. The children have since been taken to the hospital for treatment.

Baah Tweneboah popularly known as Agya Baah believed to be in his 40s used to work as an Agricultural Extension Officer in Kumasi and doubled as the chairman of the Apotuogya DA Primary polling station.

The NPP's polling station chairman's death adds to the increasing number of deaths the party has suffered in 2016 alone.
