Accra Hearts of Oak are said to be considering asking their Japanese-American coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi away on grounds of insubordination to the club’s management.
Kenichi is reported to have walked away from technical meetings and perhaps the last straw that broke the camel’s back was when he blocked the club’s head of management, Vincent Odotei from entering their dressing room in their 1-0 loss to Liberty at the Accra Stadium.
Hearts were said to be considering former coach Yusif Abubakar who is now with Techiman City but the latest twist to the situation is that a section of the board members would rather rope in their former expatriate coach, Kosta Papic.
Papic, an ex Orlando Pirates coach is reported to be in talks with the Phobians and is demanding $8000 as his salary.
The club’s board will be meeting on Thursday to consider the way forward for the club as its fortunes nose-dived in the latter stages of the GPL.
