A year indeed runs faster when the memory of it is so strong, June 3, 2015, was without a doubt a very dark day in the annals of Ghanaians.
Over 150 innocent lives perished over a fire and flood disaster. Ghana remember June 3 with pain and sadness but also with a resolve that #NeverAgain.
The one year anniversary of the June 3 flood and fire disaster victims was marked by commemorative events at the Reverend Ernest Bruce Memorial Methodist Church at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle.
Some dignitaries present at the service included; President John Dramani Mahama, Accra mayor, Dr Alfred Oko Vanderpuiye, Gbese Mantse, Nii Ayi Bonte II and families of victims and survivors.
