Three people have been arrested in Islamabad, Pakistan, in connection with the killing of an 18-year-old girl. An arrest warrant has also been issued for a fourth suspect.
The girl, Maria Abbasi, was burnt alive for refusing a marriage proposal according to a report by CNN.
The assailants are said to have drenched Maria, a school teacher, in petrol before setting her ablaze and leaving her for dead.
She was said to have been baby-sitting her five-year old sister as her parents attended a funeral in a nearby town.
It was at the funeral that her family received word that Maria had been set on fire.
They rushed home to discover their daughter lying on the floor, with 85% of her body covered in burns..
Maria was taken to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences in Islamabad, about 50 kilometers (30 miles) away, for treatment, where she later died.
