The Black Stars of Ghana booked a place in the 2017 Afcon tournament to be stage Gabon.
The senior national team beat their Mauritius counterpart in the second leg of the qualifier by 2-0 away in Port Louis.
The Black Stars needed just a point to seal a place in next year’s tournament going into the qualifier against Mauritius away from home.
And skipper for the day, Andre Ayew and Christian Atsu found the net in the second half for the team.
Andre Ayew scored the first goal of the game in the 71st minute to put Ghana ahead.Christian Atsu combined with Chelsea teammate Abdul Baba Rahman to put Ghana 2-0 up, a scoreline which proved to be the final scoreline in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
