Two suspected criminals escape police cells in Upper West

Two suspected criminals, Abdulai Alhassan and Faisal Mohammed, who broke out of police custody are being searched for by police in the Upper West region.

Media reports indicates the prisoners escaped by cutting through the ceiling of the prison cell they were locked up in at the Tumu Police Station on Sunday evening. Meanwhile, police in the region are refusing to speak publicly on the incident that happened around 11: 00 pm Sunday evening.

The two suspected criminals were arrested for murder and stealing respectively.
