The costume Gospel musician Ohemaa Mercy wore last year when she hosted her Tehillah Experience show has been auctioned for a whooping Ghc35,000 at the Best Western Premier Hotel in Accra.
The auction was part of activities at the launch of her ministry, the Ohemaa Mercy Ministries which took place last Saturday, June 4 in a plush event.
The bidding for the dress started at Ghc1000 and in a matter of minutes, was in the tens of thousands. Head Pastor ICGC Calvary Temple off Spintex road, Dr. Anthony Cudjoe put in a bid of Ghc35,000 which could not be contested making it the winning bid of the night.
The launch of the Ohemaa Mercy Ministries hosted by TV presenter, Stacey Amoateng, and minister Obed saw performances by Francis Amo, Tagoe Sisters, Joe Mettle, Nacy and other renowned gospel musicians.
This year’s Tehillah Experience show has been slated for August 7. The concert which has been described as a “revolution in Christendom” gives Christians the opportunity to have a special extended and fulfilling praise and worship time with God.
