Officials of the Narcotics Control Board (NACOB) have arrested client of lawyer Alexander Afenyo Markins on suspicion of drugs possession.
The suspect, Halidu Moro was first arrested at the Kotoka International Airport with the sum of 400, 000 dollars he was traveling with confiscated. Moro filed a suit challenging the confiscation of his money at the Human Rights Court. His application was granted with the court ordering the state to release his money. However, the issue took a dramatic twist on Wednesday after the man was arrested in court.

Events at court turned ugly on Wednesday after his lawyer, Afenyo Markins and Moro's brother attempted to intervene and prevent NACOB officials from picking up the man.
