Group accuses NPP of planning violence ahead of elections

 

The opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) is being accused of fueling violence ahead of the November 7 polls.

A group calling itself the Young Democrats say functionaries of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) are plotting an easy and violent way to win power as the comments of campaign manager of the NPP Peter Mac Manu stating the party will declare its own results for the 2016 elections is an incitement to political violence which could threaten the security of the country.

Meanwhile authorities of the NPP are yet to make any pronouncements on the allegations
