Two UDS Students killed in ghastly Salaga accident

An accident involving an unidentified vehicle and a motorcycle at Salaga in the Northern Region has killed two students of the University of Development Studies, it has been reported.

Awudu Alhassan and Addul Raphic were travelling to Tamale when the vehicle knocked them off, according to a report by Accra-based Starr FM.

The report said the two final year students of UDS were both former executives of the students’ representative council of the school.

A similar devastating accident at Prampram in the Greater Accra Region last month killed three students of the Central University College.

Sedem Hodo, Nana Kofi Asare and Boison Kobby Junior died on the spot when their saloon car collided with a tipper truck on the Dawhenya-Aflao highway.

The impact of the crash damaged the car beyond repairs. The roof of the vehicle was ripped off, while the belongings of the students were scattered on the scene of the accident.
