A frog which was run over by a lawnmower in Mount Isa, Australia, was airlifted to a frog hospital 500 miles away in Cairns, according to a report by fox.com.
The frog was accidentally run over by a woman, Min Tims, in front of her house.
Tims, who is said to have been devastated by the damage to the frog’s head, consulted her niece, Felicia Morgan.
Morgan is said to have contacted a frog hospital in Cairns and they agreed to treat the frog.
An airline also offered to carry the animal on one of its flights.
When it arrived at the hospital, the staff there helped the it recover from internal parasites but observed it had damage to one of its eyes, the report said.
After the treatment, the frog was returned to Tims, who put the animal in a fish tank and started giving it a special diet, it added.
