Residents of Teshie in Accra on Saturday pulled out the body of a taxi driver from the Teshie Lagoon, it has been reported.
The development comes two days after torrential rains caused flooding in parts of the capital.
Reports said the taxi driver was carried away by the flood waters while standing on the taxi on a flooded road.

The rains began at about 4am on Thursday and persisted throughout the day.
Several areas of the capital were flooded, with individuals and businesses counting their losses.
A three-year-old girl in Tema drowned in rapid waters, according to a report by myjoyonline.com.

Shalom Okyerera was reportedly seen being carried away by the flood waters but residents in the area could not rescue her.
