According to the finderonline, the minister said he has received several cautions by the governing body that by November this year, if the country does not see any significant improvement in its sports infrastructure, Ghana will be sanctioned.

He was speaking at a signing ceremony of an MoU between HFC Bank and the Ghana Education Service (GES) last Friday in Accra where he made a passionate appeal to the corporate world to help improve Ghana’s sports infrastructure.

Nii Lantey said:“I am asking you to do business with the ministry by coming on board so that we build sports infrastructure, which I call private investment so that you can run it yourselves.”

Ghana currently has inadequate sports infrastructure which has contributed to its poor performance at international competitions.
