Francisca Ashietey- Odunton, the acting director general of the state’s media house made this known at a meeting with representatives of all political parties in Accra on Tuesday to outline the Corporation's guidelines for coverage of all parties and presidential candidates’ activities ahead of the polls.
She announced that the debate will be held after the EC has certified the presidential candidates for the polls.
There has been resentment among political parties towards the IEA presidential debate with regards to the choice of political parties and what the parties claim as they being sidelined in preparation towards it.
Meanwhile, GBC has assured all the parties that they will be given equal air time and space nationwide to outline their policies to the electorate in line with the Corporation's editorial policies.
