Shocking: Weed found in assemblyman's house in E/R

Police in the Ayensuano district of the Eastern region are investigating circumstances under which three compressed parcels of weed were found in the house of the assembly member for the Teacher Mante Electoral area, Edward Amaadi Antwi.

Reports show the assemblyman woke up to the shock when three slabs of the compressed illicit substance were concealed in a black polythene bag in his home.

He suspects the move is an attempt by his detractors to embarrass him and to link him to narcotics.

He disclosed that the substance were placed on the compound of his new building which is currently occupied by some young footballers in the area.
