Ghana military chase after officer reported to be linked with ISIS

The Ghana military high command is on a manhunt for one of its officers, Bawa Abdul Rahman, who is suspected of having links with terrorist group ISIS, reports by Citi FM have shown.

Bawa Abdul Rahman is reported to have jumped out of the vehicle which was sending him to his bosses for military inquisition after his commanders invited him for questioning and further investigations over his suspected links with ISIS.

So far, it remains unclear how long the 26 -year old had been in touch with ISIS or whether he has already been recruited as all means to get in a confirmation from the public affairs directorate of the military has proven futile.
