Presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akufo-Addo has revealed on Facebook that he was at the residence of President John Mahama to mourn with him.
“I was at the residence of President John Dramani Mahama today to mourn and express my deepest condolences to him on the death of his mother, Abiba Nnaba. May her soul rest in perfect peace,” the opposition leader shared on Facebook.
The founder of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP), Dr Papa Nduom, has also shared a message of sympathy as he mourns with president.

“My heartfelt condolence and sympathy to President John Dramani Mahama on the passing of his mother”.
“Mothers are special and it brings great grief to lose them. May the Almighty console the President and his family, and may He grant his mother eternal rest,” Dr Nduom added.
The president lost his mother on Tuesday June 14, 2016.
