Grandpas pose as hip-hop characters in new editorial

Little had been know about these hip-hop grandpas until now. They're known as Kabangu, and they are a group of hip hop grandpas who've been around since the 1980s - or so it’s been made to seem - according to CNN.

The photos of these old men and women are part of Kenyan digital photographer Osborne Macharia and stylist Kevin Abraham’s latest editorial which they hope will teach rising stars the important values in life such as upholding peace, equality, prosperity and social justice.

Even though Kabangu band is only fictional, the number of views on social media have been very real; panning into the millions. Some even believed and wished the band was real.
