President John Mahama has resumed his 'Accounting to the People' tour which he put on hold when his mother died last Tuesday.
Following the burial of Hajia Fatima Abiba Nnaba, 85, at Busunu in the West Gonja District of the Northern Region, the president is set to embark on a tour of the Greater Accra region today.
It will be followed by a tour of the Ashanti Region and then a tour of the three northern regions after Ramadan.
Meanwhile, President Mahama is under pressure to return a Ford Expedition vehicle estimated to cost $60,000 which he received from a Burkinabe contractor, Djibril Kanazoe.
The revelation has provoked a firestorm of controversy and outrage in a section of the public, with some Ghanaians describing it as a clear case of bribery.
