Ghana finally gets to see tangible products from the Komenda Sugar factory in the Central region as first photos emerge of the maiden batch of white sugar produced right here in Ghana.
Secretary of the board of the factory, Ransford Vani-Amoah disclosed on Asempa FM that the first samples of sugar will be later presented to officials of the Trade Ministry and some organizations for testing and validation.
There has been raging controversy over the operations of the factory, with claims and counter claims about its viability and readiness to operate.
The factory is said to have already produced some brown sugar and days ago, it was revealed that the factory was well on its way to producing its first white sugar as it goes through the test run process.
Now pictures of the first made in Ghana white sulphur-less sugar have emerged and hopefully will be on the market soon.
