The expectation of a new child to be born excites the whole family. However, when time came, the excitement turned into some anxiety because a power break made it impossible to carry on the procedure properly.
The only one physician, who responded to the call, had to operate in complete darkness, so he asked 3-years-old Kathleen, the older daughter of a birthing mother, to assist him by holding a flashlight.
The girl willingly helped, and after a little, while she could see (and hear) Connor, a new member of their family. The paramedic thanked Kathleen for the assistance and showed her little brother, who, like most of newborn babies, burst with tears. However, Kathleen didn’t start coddling with the little thing and just remarked disapproving, “His fault. He shouldn’t have crawled in there in the first place.”
