Wa All Stars have maintained their top spot on the Ghana Premier League table 1-0 win over Berekum Chelsea at the Wa Park on Sunday.
The Wa giants went straight to action as they went directly into attack from the start of the game.
The second half of the game had more action as Berekum Chelsea brought on their game after the break. Solomon Odwo’s side piled pressure on the home side in various stages of the game but Richard Ofori was on hand to save the situation for his team.
The Pendulum swung into Wa All Stars’ favour but they couldn’t bury all their chances they created as the game ended 1-0 advantage the Wa based side.
In another part of the country, Techiman City continued their unbeaten home run as they settled for a 1-1 draw against Kumasi Asante Kotoko on Sunday at the Nana Ameyaw Park, Techiman.
Stephen Manu scored for Techiman City in the first half, before Amos Frimpong drew level for Asante Kotoko.
The visitors started the game very well by swinging their passes together and dominated the hosts in the early stages of the game.
