Highlife star, Amandzeba Nat Brew, has endorsed President John Mahama for the 2016 elections.
In an interview with Accra-based Adom FM, he said although he had great respect for New Patriotic Party flagbearer, Akufo-Addo, the president was his friend and that there was the need for people to be loyal to their friends.
Amandzeba said his friendship with the President Mahama started long before he became vice-president and that each time he went to the Castle to visit his uncle, the late President John Atta Mills, he ended up spending more time with Mahama.
He said he also appreciated the fact that President Mahama had gone to the US and said that he (Amanzeba) was his favourite musician.
“Everyone has a political leaning. Parties don’t attract me. I look at personalities and my relationships with them,” he said.
Amandzeba went on to commend Kwabena Kwabena for publicly endorsing Akufo-Addo.
