Residents ''attack'' NDC executives during Mahama's tour

President Mahama's "Accounting to the People's Tour" in the Ashanti Region may be receiving a harsh welcome as angry residents attacked regional executives of the party in protest over high utility tariffs.

Reports from CitiFM shows how the angry residents pelted stones at the regional executives of the party  who were part of President Mahama’s convoy, during his "Accounting to the People Tour" in the area.  Meanwhile, the Ashanti regional secretary of the NDC, Raymond Tandoh reveals that the police is currently investigating the attacks claiming there was no casualty recorded.

President John Dramani Mahama began his “Accounting to the People” tour of the Ashanti region on Tuesday. The region is the seventh to be visited by the president since the tour commenced in April.
