Ignore false publication about Rawlings visit to Flagstaff House

The office of the former President Jerry John Rawlings has urged the general public to ignore all falsehood being published about the visit of the NDC founder to the Flagstaff House Tuesday.

According to a statement from the former president’s office, four persons including two Kenyan youth development experts accompanied President Rawlings to the pre-arranged meeting.

The statement noted that : “the two parties [Mr Rawlings and the Flagstaff House] held fruitful discussions on issues pertaining to collaboration on development opportunities for Ghanaian youth”.

Rawlings also met with Vice President Paa Kwesi Amissah Arthur to exchange pleasantries.

The statement further revealed that there was no discussion on the National Democratic Congress and the 2016 elections.
