Unemployed health professionals picket at the Flagstaff House

Two health professionals who recently completed the College of Health in Kintampo have been arrested for picketing at the Flagstaff House.

According to some of the members of the group two of their members have been arrested because they sent a petition to the presidency to fast track their employment into the health sector.

In an interview with Citi News, a member of the group, Philip Davor admitted that the group failed to notify the police because they went to the Flagstaff House only to present a letter to government and to demonstrate.

They said unlawful assembly, what is the use of unlawful assembly when we are in the house suffering? What has the government done about us? They should come back and take all of us, that will rather help because if they take some we will go back again,” he said fuming.
