The Convention People's Party (CPP) has suspended its general secretary, Nii Armah Akomfrah and national youth organiser, Ernesto Yeboah.
Reports by StarrFM show that both party executives got suspended after they openly condemned the flagbearer of the party, Ivor Greenstreet for insisting that President Mahama did nothing wrong with regards the controversial Ford car-gift scandal.

President John Dramani Mahama has replied critics who are calling for his impeachment over a Ford Expedition he received as a gift from a Burkina contractor. Speaking on the issue during his Greater Accra region “Accounting to the People” tour, Mahama said the accusations and allegations are baseless.
