Mahama scores 41% in a job approval ratings - Opinion poll

A recent poll by Goodman AMC opinion poll research has pegged President John Dramani Mahama’s approval rating to be 41%.

According to the research which was done in May, the respondents also stated that the president  has the ability to draw support from across the aisle.

The poll further revealed that some 41% of likely Ghanaian voters who responded to a specific question said they approved of John Mahama’s performance as president.

The hike in tariffs and taxes also accounted for a fall in Mahama’s popularity  to 15% in March.

63% of respondents indicated that the country and government were heading in the wrong direction; whereas 45% believed otherwise.
