All flagbearers to be given personal security ahead of elections

The Ghana police service has begun the deployment of personal police security detail to all flagbearers of the various political parties in the country ahead of the November polls.

Director of public affairs of the police service, Superintendent Cephas Arthur revealed that the security arrangement comes necessary in the wake of the flagbearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Akufo-Addo inviting three ex-South African officers for security purposes.
