Terrorism: Ghana secures borders with strict surveillance

As part of efforts to protect Ghana against terrorist acts, the interior ministry has begun installing surveillance equipment at all border posts of the country.

Deputy minister of interior, James Agalga in an address at a public symposium at Bolgatanga in the Upper East region has revealed that the surveillance programme is expected to run all through the ten regions of Ghana.

Ghana remains one of the West African countries with the highest possibility of a terrorist attack following recent attacks in Ivory Coast and Mali by ISIS.
