Akufo-Addo predicts doom should Mahama win Nov 7 elections

Flagbearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Akufo-Addo has warned that Ghana is bound to plunge into doom should President Mahama be re-elected come the November elections.

Addressing residents of Ofoase/Ayirebi during the commencement of day-4 of his tour of the Eastern region, the third time presidential candidate argued that Ghana could not afford four more years under the governance of President Mahama.

“Four more years under President Mahama would be a bad thing for Ghana, and will only spell doom for Ghanaians,” He argued.

The comments by the main opposition leader follows concerns over the rapid fall in Ghana's economic performance since 2012 - a worry most political analysts say have the potential of sending the NDC government back to opposition come the November 7 general elections.
