Police arrest teenagers for stealing taxi

The police in Accra have arrested four suspects at the Kokomba market for attempting to sell a stole taxi with registration number, GG 2131-16 at the scrap market. 

The suspects, four in number were identified by the police as; Gideon Addo, 18 years, David Asare, aged 19 years; Millicent Adjatey an 18-year-old form two student of a Methodist senior high in the Eastern Region and Richard Awotey.

According to the police the suspects pushed the taxi driver out of the taxicab after wounding him with a knife in the right hand.

David, Richard and Gideon are all Suhum-based taxi drivers, police say.
