Rapper M.anifest appears unfazed by Sarkodie attack on him in his diss song Kanta.
In the song targeted at M.anifest, Sarkodie dropped a line which attacked M.anifest’s fashion sense.
“Obi bɛ diss me a na ɛnyɛ rapper ɔde GTP ntoma pam kaba…Me no me rap yɛ authentic.” To wit: “If someone would diss me, it is not a rapper who uses GTP cloth to sow Kaba,” he said.
Some music enthusiasts say the line was an attack on GTP textiles and have blasted Sarkodie for, according to them, despising an African fashion product.
In a reaction on Monday, M.anifest who is currently in Geneva, Switzerland, for a show, shared a selfie which showed him looking relaxed.
His post created the impression that he was not shaken by Sarkodie's diss and that he was focusing on Wednesday's show.
The hashtag #Kabafestive at the end of his post also appeared to mock Sarkodie for calling him out on wearing kaba.
M.anifest had, according to analysts, laughed off claims that Sarkodie was the king of rap in Ghana and had proclaimed his self a rap god.
