Tennis fans this week claim they have been too 'distracted' by Serena Williams' nipples showing through her tennis whites to focus on her game and have taken to social media to broadcast their plight.

Williams who is the world number one made it to the semi finals of on-going Wimbledon after beating Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova of Russia, but some viewers were more interested in questioning her appearance.

One user, @Jessiasophie_ suggested that those making comments should probably watch something else on TV instead of criticizing a female athlete’s outfit.
The row comes after viewers accused the BBC of indulging in too many gratuitous slow-motion shots of Wimbledon's women tennis players, including close-ups of their underwear, earlier this week.
The broadcaster was criticised over its use of long, lingering close ups during women's matches, which some viewers have said feature too much of the athletes' bottoms.
A BBC spokesman said she could not comment on any complaints received, but added that the replays were used for analysis of the sport.
Serena Williams has 21 Grand Slam titles to her name and is the highest paid female athlete in the world.
