The presidential nominee of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akufo-Addo has been scheduled to appear at the Institute of Economic Affairs’ (IEA) evening encounter series on August 9.
The NPP flagbearer was initially billed to take his turn at the encounter of July 5, but was postponed by the institute.
So far, the presidential candidates of the People’s National Congress (PNC) and the Convention People’s Party (CPP), Dr. Edward Mahama and Ivor Kobina Greenstreet, have taken their turn on the platform over the past two weeks.

The IEA Evening Encounter series is a platform designed for political parties and their flagbearers to interact with a cross-section of Ghanaians through Civil Society and other interest-group representation ahead of the general elections.
Questions are also posed to the candidates after their presentation.
