President John Dramani Mahama is in the Upper West region continuing with his  “Accounting to the People tour” as he is expected to hold a meeting with religious leaders, inspect on-going projects at the new Military Barracks, Nandom District Assembly and the Wa Airstrip.

Upon arrival, the president promised the people in the region that commercial flights to Wa, the capital of the region will begin by October this year adding that underground work for the take-off of the project was almost complete.

Also, the president inspected on-going work on the new 180-bed capacity Wa Regional Hospital as he also inaugurated a new Library project at Wa and a new water project in Wellembelle in the Sissala East District.
