Do Christians fail? They do! And at times they fail miserably. You can object: that’s not from God! No, but we are humans, and we sin, fail and keep on making mistakes. But Jesus has the power to turn your fails into miracles!
The greatest Bible heroes, such as King David failed. We all know of his mistakes, as they are recorded in the Bible. Here what he says:
"You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; you have loosed my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness." Psalm 30:11
So, if you feel like you lost your calling and the favor of God because of your fails and sins, we have the good news for you! God is not mad at you. He never expected you to live a life and not to fail even once. Regardless of the misery of your sins, you still are his beloved child. Even Apostle Paul says that God’s strength manifests the best in our weaknesses.
So, whatever it is: job loss, business fail, marriage problems or even divorce, problems with kids or even drinking – God is there with you to help you turn your fails into victories. The only thing you need to do is to keep on living by faith and not by sight. These Scripture can help you to hold on to His mercy, as it leads you to repentance.
"For the righteous falls seven times and rises again, but the wicked stumble in times of calamity." Proverbs 24:16
That’s right, the righteous people fall, they sin, and they make mistakes. God never promised to make you perfect here on Earth. We are saved in hope. 7 is the number of perfection. It means you can make as many mistakes as possible and still have the favour of the Lord and His support.
Matthew 13:24-30 Read this parable of the wheat and weeds carefully. Think it talks only of the church, where you find all kinds of people? It’s not. It speaks of your heart. And it has so much inspiration for you.
Number 1: God sowed good seeds in your heart and life
God is there for you, and He has made a precious investment in you!
Number 2: God’s seeds grow
You see, they give the greens on your field or in your heart. What God sows in you is not in vain. It is growing.
Number 3: God sends you His workers to help you
He cares even so much to send you other people and help you out. You are not left or forsaken by Him.
Number 4: The devil sows his seeds, too
Good news again: it’s not you. It’s the enemy, who comes and sows the weeds in you. And God knows. Does He care?
Number 5: Wheat is much more important than the weeds
Not really. God is not surprised by the “issues” you still have in your life. He knows they are there, and He says:
“But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.” (Matthew 13:29-30)
See, He values His investment into your life much more than He hates the “tares”. And He has a plan to help you out and get rid of them. However, it will not happen just now.
Number 6: the harvest is coming
If you see the fails in your life, and they seem to grow huge, know, the wheat is growing up too, and the harvest is near. Every time before the great victory in your life, you get yourself in great trouble. It’s ok. It’s how it should be, and God is in it with you. He is not mad at you. And He is about to deliver you. What you need is to stand by faith and never to give up.
This parable of Jesus turns our fails into miracles. No matter what you’ve been through in your life, do not let the past condition your present and ruin your future. Whatever you are going through now, God is potent enough to make the best of it.
Because where the sin abounds, grace abounds even more! The devil is defeated, and you already have the victory in Christ Jesus. Just hang on there and see how He uses your fails and mistakes for His glory!
