Just when you are about entering the Tema Station bus terminal in Accra, you would be greeted with a stench of heaped rubbish just at the main entrance of the terminal.
This heap of rubbish, according to passersby has been left unattended to for nearly a week. A disturbing development which begs the question of how clean Ghana's capital city remain. As I took a picture of this eyesore, I could not believe how traders, food vendors, and passers-by add to the heap of rubbish by carelessly throwing garbage on the already heaped dirt.
Who could be responsible for this development, the Accra Metropolitan Authority (AMA), government authorities or the general public?
