Ghana tourism authority shuts down brothel in A/R

The Ghana Tourism Authority has shut down operations of an adolescent brothel at Momo in the Ashanti region.

Reports indicate that the facility which has a restaurant embedded in it also plays host to several prostitutes in the metropolis. Strangely enough, the authority is said to have closed  the brothel not because of the commercial sexual activities but rather due to nonpayment of tourism taxes.

Meanwhile, an administrator of the Tourism Development fund, Abraham Tetteh, told Bediako they will continue to clamp down on illegal hospitality facilities in the region.
